Tyyr said no. Otherwise I would have taken Huron-Fel from the crossover thread.Cpl Kendall wrote:So hey, what was the ruling on Dreadnoughts?

Unknown. We never hear from him again. But he was attached to a traitor legion but he had remained loyal. So... who the hell knows.

Yeah, no for this one.
Wait... Huron-Fel? The Deathguard?
I might consider it down the road. Hey, die gloriously in battle and maybe it'll happen!

Yup, he was amazing in battle! So much so that his primarch avoided him in the treason.Tyyr wrote:Wait... Huron-Fel? The Deathguard?

He died in the virus bombing. Detonated his own reactor when the life eater started to dissolve through his enviro sealing.

Was that him or someone else? There were a couple of Dreadnoughts in the HH series.Tyyr wrote:He died in the virus bombing. Detonated his own reactor when the life eater started to dissolve through his enviro sealing.

Ehh, wouldn't matter. Not like the SM don't have plenty of bodies to turn into Dreads.

What, you didn't think it would just be a simple kill mission did you?

Re: Adeptus Astartes RP comments.
I'm just finishing up the details on my character now (sorry for the delay, wasn't able to access the stuff for a few days), but I've got a bit of a quibble with the advances. I'm at the rank of Wolf Scout, and I've just noticed that none of the possible advances I can take at this point include Melee Weapon Training. Given that Space Wolf scouts are generally veterans of sorts and that the Wolves are basically Vikings in space, I find it a bit bizzare that I'm not actually able to use a melee weapon with any skill. It gets even more odd when you realise that pretty much every single Wolf in the fluff wields a melee weapon of some sort.
Would anyone mind if I bent the rules a bit and grabbed Melee Weapon Training (chain) in advance for an extra Xp cost (say, 200)?
Other than that, I just need a name. Time to scoure Wikipedia for Norse mythology.

No, not a problem. At this level of advancement everyone should have access to chain weapons.

Cool. Thanks. I'll throw my character's sheet up in a minute. Just need to get my weapons sorted.

Your guy was inducted at 39? It's not impossible but it's pretty damn likely that he would have died, something like 60%+ of Russ's original warriors died trying to become SM's after he was found by the GEoM.
