Do other Chapters other than the Grey Knights use psykers? While I like the Knights, they seem to be munchkins even by marine standards.

Oh yeah, most chapters have librarians. Powerful psykers.

Salamanders. The closest thing the SM's have to normal humans and all round nice guys. Plus they favour fire and melta weapons.Lighthawk wrote:I could go for that. Recomend any particular chapter?

I'd go for Long Fang, but Tyyr's already filling out our heavy weapons role nicely. I think I'll go with a Space Wolf scout. Space Viking with a sniper rifle sounds like fun.

Well yeah, but competent writers can pull that off with most Chapters. The Salamanders homeworld is a volcano world and the Chapter is almost fully integrated into the society there and they tend to do a lot of work with kids and smithing. They are usually able to better relate to regular humans, as opposed to say, the Iron Hands.Lighthawk wrote:

Salamandars write-up

Gotcha. I think that works well for me, one Salamander Librarian please.Cpl Kendall wrote: Well yeah, but competent writers can pull that off with most Chapters. Edit: And once again, I find myself taking the role of group pyro. Haxta lobs firebombs, Hilda has a flamer, and now I'm going to be making a marine with pyrokinetic powers.

I don't think the DW is looking for dreadnoughts, so I'm going to take an Ultramarine Terminator Sergeant.

I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that the rules Tyyr winds up using are the ones that give Apothecary the Pistol (Plasma) talent right away.Lighthawk wrote:

I'm shocked we don't have anyone taking a Sister of Battle or Sister of Silence.

Probably because it's an Adeptus Astartes RP and there are no SoBs or SoSs on DW kill teams.
