The Beretta is a great gun especially because it is not easily taken apart (theoretically) at point blank range as you can a Glock, however, the Beretta is not as dependable as the Glock when exposed to being submerged in water for a period of time.
My Daddy bought me a Beretta at the age of 11, my first gun was a Star 9 on my 9th b-day........ they suck.
