Which is why we should try and draw it out so the gunship can hit it with all its ammunition at once. It won't survive that.

But they're useful! I like useful people!Sionnach Glic wrote:It's okay, Deep. We've got a whole squad of Stormtroopers we can send to their deaths instead.

Pretty much what Rochey said. Either we get lucky under ground... or we blow up its transportation and piss it off enough to chase us out where the gunship is. Then we hit it with EVERYTHING all at once.Sionnach Glic wrote:Which is why we should try and draw it out so the gunship can hit it with all its ammunition at once. It won't survive that.

Suddenly the thought occurs to me that we ought to have a thread that I can't read for you guys to plan things.

Aye, then you can't make our brilliant and elabourate plans fail spectacularly.

To be fair, you should have all of this planned out already. Plus his after actions are determined by dice. So, you're knowing shouldn't change anything.

Hopefully, the thing will be prone to getting ticked off and running out after us.
Head's up: I will check in from the phone when I can - and Saturdays are usually slow 'round here anyway - but I will be away most of the day tomorrow. Not like my char was going to get into PB range and pelt the thing with my BB gun anyway...

Bah, I have the end planned out. So God willing and the river don't rise, this will be done one way or another shortly.Sionnach Glic wrote:Aye, then you can't make our brilliant and elabourate plans fail spectacularly.

I mentioned before that this campaign has been by the seat of my pants (especially after I altered it to bring it in line with an overall arc), so pretty much everything up till the Cathedral assault was ad hoc.Deepcrush wrote:To be fair, you should have all of this planned out already. Then there was the fact that we screwed up your plans halfway through.

Even so, anything in this post is stuff that the Big Bad would have no way of knowing anyway.

I like this right here. In fact I think we should shift the priority to getting in and trashing whatever the thing was planning to use to get away. At that point it can either come charging out and die, or sit in there and die eventually when we get some serious firepower here in some space marines.Deepcrush wrote:Pretty much what Rochey said. Thats pretty much the idea. Either it comes after us and takes whatever brought us or it stays in there and dies of old age or us when we've advanced to Grey Knight status this time next year.Tyyr wrote:I like this right here. Who knows? Maybe whatever is stashed in that cave is armed, and we can kill him with his own BFG.

Ah, you said "Slaught". For a second there...
Never mind.
