But how do we kill it if we go in after it?

Well it's a five kilometer journey. The overseer has had 20 minutes. Do we have any explosives left? I ask because they do 3d10 + (2*Kg used). Which means that with a couple of kilograms of explosives near the mouth of the tunnel we could do enough damage to him, even through the toughness and armor, to drop him down some more and give us a chance to actually kill him.

However he's planning on getting out of here is in that cavern, we let him get to it and I don't think he'll come out, he'll just use what's in there to get away. Our only chance that I see it is to stop him at the tunnel exit and keep him from actually getting into the cavern. If we've got any explosives that's also the best place for Haxta to set them.

Depends what's in there. If it's a car, no prob. If it's a Leman Russ... problem.

That's why we need to haul ass. If we can get in there and set up before he arrives he can't get it going and use it. If we wait around outside he'll be using whatever he's got in there.

I really need to get the tech-use skill.

I just picked it up, but LH has a better Int.

Is Kendall co-opting the tech-priest due to LH's imminent execution wedding?

I suppose I should. LH mentioned he might be on tonight, so we'll give till then to do it.

Yeah, tech-use and medicae are two cross class skills I want to get.

Which brings it up, Kendall, what do I need to do in order to get them? They're part of other Sororitas progressions but not the militant one.

Probably just some extra XP and a plausible explanation.

That's what the book suggests, I just want to see what his requirements are.

I think my explanation revolves around Phebia's assignment to the Ordo. She's not operating in the usual Sororitas framework therefore some cross training for operating independently would be warranted.

Mate with a Psyker and offer your first born to the Goat Gods.

I think adding half the cost (XP) onto the advance (so 150 for a usual 100), decent reason (you have) and some time spent training on it outside the campaign (good thing theres that break after this) would be fine.

Awesome. Looks like Phebia will have something to keep her busy in the down time.

Dammit... alright, but it'll cost you.

*ahem* Anyway, I was also thinking about one of the alternate advance schemes given in IH. Templar Calix looks badass enough, but I had been thinking of going down the Scholar path rather than the Savant path... Legate Investigator could be easy to work into the game, considering my previous interaction with the Malleus. Whaddya think?
