I think his plan is to send a team in to either kill the thing or, if it proves too strong, lure it out. It may be a good idea, since we don't have any idea what's in that large chamber. Could be a vehicle of some sort. Perhaps even a teleporter.

Maybe we should lure him out then unload on his ass at the same time. This guy can rejuvenate after every turn, and most of our weapons suck against him. Plus he disintegrates people, so if any one gets hit we're screwed. Pahr volunteers to lure the guy out. What do y'all think? I can go in with him, I'm equipped for it.

Have we got any Redshirts Inquisitorial Stormtroopers with us? If so, I think it's time to let them die gloriously in the service of the Emperor.

If Pahr is looking to die then he can come along and take the lead. Draw fire and while we run back to the ambush site.

I got an idea. A couple of our stormies should have the Heavy Weapons (Bolt) talent; if not, Deep and Tyyr have our highest BS scores - even though they get a -20 for not having the talent, they get a +20 right back for full auto, plus the range mod. Can we take the heavy bolters off their pintles and bring 'em with us?

I could carry one if I dropped most my gear. I'm not sure if Tyyr can carry it.

On second thought, let the Ogryn carry one and then the rest of us carry our normal weapons.

Just a thought.

Oh, yeah - BTW, I'll also make a Sense Presence test to see if anything else is hiding in there with the overseer.

2d10 + 4 vs. threshold 7; roll of 2,9 for a total of 15. Success, + additional 10m range.

Psychic phenomena roll of 36 = "daemonic mask." I don't feel like picking up a corruption point, so I'm going to use the re-roll from manifesting "Lucky" before. 05 = "Warp Echo."

So, I'll post the first bit, and wait for Kendall to let me know the result of the Sense Presence test.

Funny. I wouldn't get hit.

So, any ideas on how we're actually going to lure this thing out of the cave?

Just a heads up for those who don't read the "what's the latest" thread, I'm getting married Saturday. So odds are pretty non-existant that I'll be on at all this weekend. Try not to get my characters killed please, and wish me luck.

Edit: though I do work Friday evening, so I'll be on then and hopefully I can get my people to a good point to put them on hold till I return.

Yep.

I run in there, toss a throwing knife in it's face, then run back out; it runs after me, then the rest of you paste it with everything we have.

Easy Peasy.

Since she's packing a grenade launcher I'd imagine she'll be in the back anyways.

As far as a plan I don't think luring it out will go well. It's probably got something in that cavern we aren't going to like. I doubt this thing was planning on walking across the wilderness.
