There's also the theory that he left the Dragon of Mars alive and imprisoned on Mars specifically to create the AdMech. If that were the case, he'd almost have to create the Cultus Mechanicus just to avoid having the AdMech go and become a bunch of C'Tan worshipers.

Well that brings me to and passed my limit of 40k history, so I have nothing else to add.

Questions

1) The rules say you get fate points back at the start of each new session. How are we going to translate that into what we're doing here? Every game day? Every real world week?

2) On new ranks. For the sake of clarity, lets suppose I have 1900 xp, need 2000 to reach my next rank. I gain 100 xp. Can I immediate spend this xp on skills and talents of the next rank up, or do I have to first spent that xp in order to reach the next rank? Do you only have to earn the xp, or do you have to spend it to rank up?

3) For talents like the Machinator Array, can I buy the talent ahead of time and become able to go through the surgery, or must I save the xp until I find someone who can do the surgical work and take the talent then?

Suffice it to say there are a lot of people in the Imperium who think the machine cult could use a good purging. The Ecclisarchy's official position is that you're venerating just another aspect of the Emperor.

They kind of have to, without the tech-priests, things would go south in a real hurry.

And there's that.

Still, ridding themselves of the AM might be the best thing for the Imperium. It'd hurt like hell but they might start trying to improve their equipment on their own.

What I was talking about.
Lighthawk wrote:1) The rules say you get fate points back at the start of each new session. How are we going to translate that into what we're doing here? Every game day? Every real world week?
Unless you burn one, of course, I think we decided to refresh each in-game morning.

You acheive your new rank as soon as you amass enough XP - spent or unspent. There's no requirement to take a quota of advances from your last rank before assuming the new one.

Dunno.

No theory about it, the novel Mechanicum outright states it.

Yes

Alright, I'm going to skip ahead ~10 minutes or so to the Valkyrie and those aboard reaching our destination, if there's no objection from you guys.

Cool with me, as long as you're sure the tunnel we're following doesn't have a bunch of side passages that our quarry might have taken. :P

Did we? Guess I forgot. Thanks.

Since I didn't mention much about the tunnel itself in-character, I guess I'll have to let you guys find out about it.

Right, commencing the fast forward of time.

OK, since ten minutes and 5 km have passed, I'm going to try for another test.

First, Lucky: threshold of 8, (Psy Rating)d10 + WP bonus = 2d10 + 4 = 7 + 2 +4 = 13.

Next, Psyniscience: Per 35, roll of 13. Didn't need the help. Is the bastard in the area?
