...well ouch. I can't imagine getting shot in the face is good for a person trying to steer an overpowered, speeding cycle.

Ork makes an agility test to keep the bike under control as he screams in pain, rolls: 22. The bike wobbles, but he holds it together. Passanger ork's agility not to fall off due to wobble, roll: 28. He's fine.

I wanna take a silent move and another awareness test to see if i can sneak up the stairs to hear what these things are saying, or if they're even bad guys. AG 37 rolled 13; per 38 rolled 20

A lot closer. Their turn first though...

Driver: Going to fire up the stubber hooked to the front of his bike. -10 for long range, +20 for auto fire, -10 for getting shot in the face, so everything equals out and he's just got his normal 40. Rolls: 54, clean miss.

Rider: Levels an RPG your way. -10 for long range, +10 half action to aim, so 40. Rolls: 23. That's a body hit.

Damage: 2d10, no pen. Roll: 11

They come 50 meters closer, now at 180 meters

That a ork would have that kind of aim from 200+ meters... I'm at a loss for words. Hell the only reason I didn't run for cover was it was orks. The damn things normally have a ballistic skill you can figure out with your fingers.

So any kind of rolls or anything since I just took a rocket to the gut?

Technically, and oddly enough, not by the rules, no, you just take whatever damage that comes to after armor and toughness. I can make something up though...

No, no, that's ok. I think I need to minimize my chances to blow a roll against these uber orks.

Silent move test to rush back down stairs, I wanted to go in blasting everyone, but Tsu strongly suggested against it. So, I'll try to slip down stairs n' try my luck.
AG 37 rolled 33 for silent retreat

Well, we'll do it again.

46 BS +10 for aiming -20 for called shot to the driver's face +10 for accurate trait. No range penalty for the scope.
Target of... well 46.

Roll a 21.

Damage of (8+3)=11 to the face with 1 Pen.

He had 8 wounds left, 6 reduction after the pen so he takes 5 damage to the face leaving him with 3 HP.

Which makes me wonder, what kind of helmet does this guy have on? Oh, and it might make more sense if the rocket detonated near Mir instead of being a direct hit.

That's really that odd for orks? I mean that, cause I'm still learning the WH universe, and I don't actually have any ork stats in the one rule book I have.

None actually. It's just one of those times where the game rules and the in world results seem a bit...odd. He's taking those las shots to the face with nothing but his HP and toughness. I honestly don't know how to flub it in the game world to make it make sense honestly

Maybe not single digits but every time I've read them orks are not good shots. Not even bad shots. They're horrible. They get by through shear weight of fire and closing as quickly as possible. Hard to miss when you can put the muzzle against your target. Oh, and their weapons are incredibly crude. Think drain pipes and sheet metal crude.

Just toughness? Then shit, I did 3 more damage to the driver. he's down to 0 HP.

Noted.
Just toughness? Then s**t, I did 3 more damage to the driver. he's down to 0 HP.
Another balance test I think then, with some penalty to it...hell, I'm not even going to bother working out what he needed, I rolled 99 for him.
