No idea. I think Deep has family issues right now but they both know where the thread is. I'll play them (maybe Uzume as well) come combat time and if they haven't checked in come time to start up the next mission, they can be put aside.

Well I kind of exaggerated things a bit. In the novels a lot of the technical mumbo jumbo just seems to be modern stuff (passwords etc) couched in religious dogma. "Recite the litany of activation" sounds a lot like, "press the power button numb nuts" or "type password."

The Squats race that never existed used Imperium style tech just fine with the Ad Mech religious dogma.

You could take your free "whatever you want" as man stopper rounds or some other upgrade that doesn't weigh much.
