And the fun of setting an enemy on fire.

OK, I guess I'm set with that. I'll post it up sometime soon.
I guess the availability puts manstopper stub rounds out of the picture, right?
More grenades and firebombs...Cpl Kendall wrote:I'm going to say that anything listed as Average and below will be available. So Average-Common-Plentiful-Abundant in the rulebooks. I looked at the stats of your adversaries this morning and you'll be needing some oommph.
Should I be worried about something unexpected in asking for a launcher?I will however permit one item each that wouldn't be on there, like a force sword, mesh armour etc. Keep in mind that if you ask for a boltgun/bolter you might end up with something unexpected.
Well you might end up with a single shot break open. I don't want to break the game just yet. We'll wait for the ship for that.Lighthawk wrote:

I'd be fine with that, though you'll need to provide the stats as I've only got the dark Hersey book. Mostly I just want to be able to use my explosives at a decent distance, my 6 meter tossing range is just a tad short for a character better suited for the back lines.Cpl Kendall wrote:Well you might end up with a single shot break open. That works. Though I must say it's odd, that a single shot, break open model takes two rounds to reload, while a six shot cylinder fed one can be reloaded in 1. It takes twice as long to stick one grenade into a tube as it does to stick six grenades into a drum that either has to rotated or removed entirely to load and then clipped back in?Cpl Kendall wrote:Gorge GL Basic 60m s/-/- 1 2Full Reliable
Damage and Pen determined by the ammo
Yeah, though damn, carrying a few of those around would be heavy as hell.Cpl Kendall wrote:Well if the drum is like a mag then yeah it would be pretty quick to reload, few seconds at most.
Probably a case of the different book's authors not checking for stat consistancy. But some of the stuff in the rulebooks are just plain weird and don't many any sense to my ex military mind.
Definitely.Lighthawk wrote:

Likely. The core rulebook was written by Black Industries and the expansions by Fantasy Flight Games. Honestly I wish they would just release them in a large uber-volume like the upcoming WFRP 3rd Edition. They could smooth out inconsistencies and make it easier to look for stuff.

Does this mean I only get two grenades?Cpl Kendall wrote:You'll get two full reloads with whatever you choose.
Sweet...uh, you got the stats on those? Not in my rule book.Cpl Kendall wrote:Grab yourself a bandoleer or grenadiers vest Lighthawk.
Probably a clumsy way of describing the difference between a break-open, breech loader and a simple flip-open drum.Lighthawk wrote:Though I must say it's odd, that a single shot, break open model takes two rounds to reload, while a six shot cylinder fed one can be reloaded in 1.
