Deep - good luck with the meeting, and sorry about your aunt... although both you and she seem to have come to terms with everything.

So on a whim ended up in NYC last weekend for New York City Craft Beer Week. Lovely time, had a serious amount of different brews, met a few top brewers from a bunch of micros. Made a stop by CBS studios to see if I could get some good Star Trek swag, but the T-shirts sucked, a mug was like $35, and no cardboard cut out of Zoe Saldana. But things are good =)

Got a new fridge today, stainless steel, a good five cubic feet more storage than the old model, and this one actually has an ice machine. (Good bye crappy ice trays!)

Unfortunately, it wouldn't fit through the kitchen doorway. :x

Had to strip the molding from the doorframe for the extra 1/2 inch we needed to get it in. I want to strangle whoever designed my house. 36" front door, 27" kitchen doorway? Really? Dumbass.

Couldn't you have brought it in the front door?

So, Uzume is going to be gone at least until Friday; her friend's funeral was today, and she wants to spend some time up in Plantersville to comfort his widow and father, as well as the many other people who were friends with what seems to have been a genuinely good guy. There aren't many good people in the world, and I consider it a shame to lose even one. RIP.

Yes, that's how it got in the house. From there it went through the living room, to the kitchen doorway, where the problem began. I'm sorry if I made it sound like the kitchen has an outside door, it does not.

Thus the confusion. Gotcha. :bangwall:

Thanks. I'll probably try to call her tomorrow.

Is currently quite hungry. The upside to eating breakfast is getting your metabolism started early. The downside is that when you eat at 6:00 in the morning you're ready for lunch at 10.

I wish. I technically can't eat meals any less than 4 hours apart, but in practice I really need to stretch it out to 5-1/2 at least.

Then theres me who needs to eat something (even a piece of candy) every two hours to stay awake, give or take a few minutes.

Couldn't you just take the fridge door off?

The width may have been the smallest dimension, in which case reducing the depth wouldn't have done much good.

Please give Uzume my best wishes too, Tsuki.

I had... an infinitely better day than yesterday. Yesterday, due to a SNAFU, the merchandise truck that was unloaded the previous night wasn't 'finalized', so the entire day was basically a waste. :bangwall: Today, though, eveything was squared away and I could get meaningful work done. Huzzah!

Since the pay cut, I seem to be lacking the motivation to work very hard. At least everybody else is still having the same problem.
