They spotted an package being sold at Jessops for a SLR camera, a Sony Alpha A330 with its standard 18-55 lens and a Tamron 70-300 telephoto lens, as well as a few other bits and bobs, bag and lens cleaner for £600. Because of my increasingly good school results, and my ssteadily improving work ethic and ability with regards to the Diploma, they did a deal where i foot £300 of it out of my £2700 savings and they pay the other half. I am incredibly chuffed with that :D
Sounds like a good little deal. Congratulations.

That will mean that we are working twice as hard for less pay. I'm barely holding it together with child support and all her court fees as it is. This is going to cost me around 25% of my monthly pay.

I may have to get a second job now.
Pure...bull...shit. I'm sorry man.

Had a great week! I'm looking forward to next week as I'm hoping for much the same.

Points of note, I'll be having my first meeting with a student's parents. I hear they've been a bit of trouble and are worried over their kid. Which is okay until they start getting in the way of what's best for their kid. I'm also booking a flight to Tennessee to see my aunt who will be passing away shortly. She's requested everyone to come and see her before things get to bad. After she passes, her care takers will contact us and let us know when it's okay to return. I got the chance to see her a few months ago and now I'll be seeing her for the last time. Though that isn't until this coming weekend.

Today, as well as yesterday, I was working with our local RBC (Regional Building Commitee) It's a volunteer force that designs, and builds our kingdom halls. Before you say that that is dangerous, we have a lower injury rate than any companies I know of, as of yet, we have had 0 deaths and only a few injuries, by a few I mean about 10, and those were all minor. All are trained on site, and some have outside jobs that involve the work they do with the RBC. I work with computers. Update, install, fix, anything.

Also, yesterday I delivered the machine I was working on before and am waiting on him to get to the RBC so that I can see how well it worked out...

I assume you have to do everything to code and pass a building inspection anyways.

Yup, everything gets done to code, and everything has to be built per whatever the county/city/town/etc. codes say... But it was quite fun today... I had to install lots of stuff...
