I keep forgetting about location rules. So the 29 becomes a 92, left leg hit. Multiple hit table says the next hit is also in the legCpl Kendall wrote:Actually the location is found by reversing the test numbers.Sionnach Glic wrote:Also, you need to roll a d100 for the location of all the hits.

Exterminator cartridge, that's the one shot flame thrower attachment right?
Can I slap that on or do I need Tech-Use?

Re: Survival: Topic discussion
Ah well, you got two good hits. 13 damage - 4 toughness = 9 damage out of 8 wounds. 1 crit damage to leg gives the thing a level of fatigue. Next hit, 8-4=4, so it's up to 5 crit damage, also to the leg, causing fractures. Agility reduced by 20 for 1d10 rounds (roll:2) and it takes 1d5 levels of fatigue (roll: 3) It now has four leves of fatigue, which equals it's toughness bonus, thus it passes out. Feel free to finish it off as you see fit. If you want to write up these results in the RP go ahead, or I can.Uzume wrote:So, extra roll

You know I haven't found any rules in regards to that, so I'm going to say just slap it on. I'll say it has some straps you wind about your weapon and tighten down. Can I slap that on or do I need Tech-Use?

Excellent, I'll remove the ye old pig sticker from the end though. Wouldn't want to tarnish the blade. You use it at half skill without the flame weapons talent though right?Lighthawk wrote:

Again, I'm not sure, as the rules are rather vague about it. Plus don't flame weapons just hit as long as the target is in the cone of fire? How do you half that?Cpl Kendall wrote:Excellent, I'll remove the ye old pig sticker from the end though. Wouldn't want to tarnish the blade. Well they don't have a "range", they go out to the maximum stated range regardless but it states pretty clearly in the book that you need the talents to use them effectively. It's one of those rules in the games that makes you go "err...what?".Lighthawk wrote:

I honestly have no idea how you could screw up hitting something with a flamer in RL unless you've pointed it the complete wrong way.

Re: Survival: Topic discussion
You could just strike that rule out of our version if you wanted, LH. Maybe imposing some other penalty on him instead.

Okay, found the rules. You do just point and shoot, and everything within the range and in a 30 degree cone before the flamer has to make an agility test to jump out of the way. If they fail, they take damage and have to make a second test or be set on fire. If the wielder doesn't have the flamer talent, the target gets a +30 to their test to avoid the flame.Cpl Kendall wrote:Well they don't have a "range", they go out to the maximum stated range regardless but it states pretty clearly in the book that you need the talents to use them effectively.
