Re: The DITL Fleet
LighthawkWell, as of yet you haven't done anything "colorful" enough to warrant a really good one with a dig or two in there.......but I have faith that you will 8)
USS Captain Picards Hair
This oddly named starship is the first Federation Starship to be openly equipped with a cloaking device since the destruction of Romulas and the dissolving of the Treaty of Algeron. Her Captain has slowly risen to command over a period of time, never feeling the need to rush or push, and it shows in his style of command. He generally doesn't push his ship over Warp 5 on missions and refuses to adhere to a timetable. His first mission was as a courier which took him nearly a year to complete as he had 1800 messages to deliver, but would only post a dozen or so a day. Another interesting point about this ship is that the Captain never decloaks. It is rumored that nobody will ever "see" this ship again, until somebody can find Jean-Luc Picard's hairline.
USS Graham Kennedy
This ship is named after the creator of Daystrom class starship, who has also made this his flagship. This vessel generally provides a roving command platform from where other ships may be dispatched to trouble zones, ongoing technical and historical research may continue, and new weekly poll questions may be dreamed up. While not as noticeable in action as many other ships, the GK can usually be found if diplomacy may be needed, or if there is a picture of a scantily clad woman may be found. At other times, this ship may turn up in the most unexpected locations, injecting the occasional wisecrack as needed.

Nice.
There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939

Yeah P, that was pretty low. Keep your opinions of my choices off the computer. Unless thread related.
