A question, does a bayonet (melee attachment) count as a primitive melee weapon?
Oh and I assume we're not actually leveling up?

Yes. And actually, yes, you will gain xp and level up as normal. Feel free to spend earned xp as soon as you get it.Cpl Kendall wrote:A question, does a bayonet (melee attachment) count as a primitive melee weapon?

Excellent, then I shall stick a bayonet on my "Slayer" and use it as a spear in CC.

I'm finalizing a few details; will be in momentarily.

Re: Survival: Topic discussion
Firing semiauto (+10) at a short range target (+10). Target is 66
Ok, rolled a 25.
Four degrees of success so three hits.
First location is 52 the body. Damage is (7+4-1) = 10
Second location is 20 the arm. Damage is (2+4-1) = 5
Third location is 41 the body. Damage is (4+4-1) = 7
So the first shot wipes out his wounds.
The second shot reduces his WS and BS by half for 1d10 rounds (leave that to LH) and 1 level of fatigue. I guess he's not carrying anything so the last bit is ignored.
The third shot cracks 1d5 ribs. He has a 20% chance per round for a rib shard to pierce something important and die. 1d5 levels of fatigue.
I'll leave all those rolls for LH.

Actually, if I'm reading the example section for critical wounds right, crit damage is cumlative. So actually, you wiped out it's wounds in the first shot, ripped up the arm in the 2nd, and then blasted the creature back 1d10 meters as blood spews violently from it's mouth. It is very dead.Tyyr wrote:Firing semiauto (+10) at a short range target (+10). Target is 66

And tsu, reread the game's equipment rules, you're over geared.

Re: Survival: Topic discussion
I don't think so. The example has the guy getting hit in the head and then the body, and still adding up the total damage taken from all attacks for the body hit. And yeah, good job, killed it in one go. I'll have to send something meaner next time.Tyyr wrote:Ok, see I thought it was accumulated per location. Well in that case yay for death.
