The software allows for it - minimods can be granted mod powers over a specific forum or subforum. It's usually used on big boards with thousands of members and a lot of activity - DITL isn't big enough to need them.

No ms. required. It's either the full IntrepidPrincess 8) (which no one seems to use, which is fine) or Princess . I for one like being called just "Princess". That used to be one of the nicknames my mom would use for me when I was little (I should add, it's the only one I still like). You can call me that just like everyone else if you want (however if you feel compelled to call me ms, I will not complain every time you do . but I really don't like formality, even among those younger than me).

Sorry, I live with the constant stigma as "Most polite child of school" because I insist on using mrs./sir. whatever to teachers. It's just something that i've grown up with, an innate sense of overbearing politeness. I'll try to remember that
