Re: Dark Heresy: Illumination
1115 Day Two:
Pahr wakens to find himself manacled to a wooden chair in a dingy hab, the large man he had been following stood off in a corner, watching him carefully. Upon closer inspection he could see that he was in fact an Ogryn and cradled a massive shotgun in his arms, with a large cleaver at his belt. The abhuman pressed an inconspicuous stud on his clothes and a scant few seconds later a thoroughly nondescript man entered the room. He walked over to a table on which had been placed Pahr's effects.
He picked up the summons that Pahr had been sent requesting and requiring his presence on this mission. "So I find myself in the presence of a fellow acolyte, well met...brother."
He holds up a small amulet, the insignia of the Ordo Malleus clearly visible on a pad of dark leather.

1110 Day 2
Phebia hustled through the streets, trying to keep track of Pahr. In the distance she watched him stop and try to look inconspicuous and she'd follow suit. All too quickly her inexperience caught up with her and she lost sight of him. "Damn it," she growled. "Did you see where he went?" she asked of Enrick.

Enrick spun in place like a fowl with a fresh beheading. "DAMN! He was right there! I swear I saw him!"

Haxta glanced over at Karibi. " I guess we should probably go after them," she said, and waved at Milo to get out of the bar and join them.

Phebia grabbed the grip of her carbine and brought it around to the ready. "Ugh! Where the hell did he go? Do you see the cultists?" asked Phebia as she scanned the street, looking for any sign of them.

1111, Day Two
Trask strode back up to the group as Phebia and Enrick broke through the crowd after Pahr. After hearing their angry and confused comments, Milo dashed into the throng as well, following the wake that the assassin had left. Scanning around, however, he failed to pick up a trace of the missing acolyte. "Throne damn it! I've lost him, too."

Hurrying after Phebia and Enrich, Haxta finds the pair of them turning in one spot, searching the crowd carefully. A quick look around herself found nothing, no sign of Pahror cultists.
" We lost them, already?" she half exclaimed.

1111 Day 2
Panting slightly, Karibi eventualy caught up with the rest of them, surprised to see them looking around in confusion.
"Don't tell me we lost them already!" He exclaimed, looking around himself with no success.

1112 Day 2
"Well, we can tag him when we find him again." Marco replied. "Hang on, I think I may have an idea. If they were heading back to their residences, then we may be able to find them through local gossip. We can go back to the bar, ask the bar tender if he knows where they live under the guise of wanting to hire that big guy to help with some heavy lifting on our ship, and that might lead us to Pahr. If, indeed, that's where they were headed. In any case, it may give us a lead."

Phebia held up a hand. "Wait a moment." Pushing her carbine out of the way she knelt down. "Something happened here," she said pointing to the disturbed grime on the street. She stood up and walked towards a nearby hab block following a faint trail. At the door of the block she stood up. "Damn, the janitor is diligent in his duties. I've lost him."

"Ordo Malleus? Why?" Pahr asked quietly, slowly adjusting his bonds. A number of sigils and names were visible, carved into the flesh of his arms.

There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939
