that sucks, though why'd you buy it?
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Looks fun.colmquinn wrote:Photo's of my holiday on boat are now on facebook for all to see. The censored ones anyway
...Though, now I'm wondering what's in the "uncensored" pictures.

My parent's reaction was the same when I "lost" mine (it was stolen but my parents dont believe me). Now I dislike the idea of having a seperate music player, and instead use my phone.Nickswitz wrote:Bob lost his 8GB Ipod touch in the nearby park, and we have no clue where it is. I paid for it, and am pissed that I wasted 200 bucks on an ipod that he would eventually lose, and I knew he would, and he did, it was only like 6 months. I am thoroughly pissed right now, IDK what I'm pissed at even, just in general.

Ouch, that sucks.
Personaly I just have a cheap little Creative Zen Mozaic. It works fine for me, so I've not bothered getting anything bigger or newer.
The only problem is that the fucking headphones keep breaking.

I bought it because I felt sorry for him, because he 'needed' a new mp3 player. He never had more than 3 gig of music on his but insisted he needed more space. So in short, I'm too nice.. But then again I can think of it this way, every cent he gets, goes to me, since I basically wasted 200 bucks on his iPod, that he lost.

What I do is get a phone, and then put a huge memory card in.
On that note, I got my new phone today. I went for the LG GW520 in silver/black as thats the one orange sells. And I love it! The qwerty keyboard is simple and effective, the touch screen is much better than my old cookie and the software has been updated somewhat to stop the crashes. vair happy! And it can take up to a 16gb memory card, meaning in theory I can hold as much music as both my parents iPods combined! (they have 8gb's)

nice Reliant...
I have a sansa e280 with 8gigs memory. It works well for me so I'm not really looking to upgrade, unless Verizon get's the IPhone that is.

I have the e260 (4 GB) model - that's enough to hold my entire collection with a bit of room to spare, though I have a 2 GB card in it anyway.Lt. Staplic wrote:nice Reliant...

ya, I've only got 1-1.5 gigs music on mine, but the extra memory comes in handy b/c I have to download pics onto mine so we can show relatives, and I'm the only one in my house that knows how to do that

my parents are just as, if not more, technically minded as me so i'm all good in that department. We have a shared music drive that spans 6 decades and is worth a good 40gb's worth of songs. I just download what I want from there.

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
I might be using around half the native 4 GB on mine; I use my phone for the pics since it has a bigger screen. The 4 GB card I put in my phone stores those pics, and now that I've got the bluetooth thing going on my laptop I should be able to transfer material wirelessly between it and my phone rather than just physically moving the card into the card reader. In fact I have demonstrated that my phone and PC can talk to each other, though I haven't had the occasion to transfer a file this way yet.Lt. Bob (with the help of our sis) found it. No more death notice.
