I had no idea...
Re: I had no idea...
I just watch it and i liked very much. It's very well done and the presence of all those ST stars in a fan movie... some of them in its original roles and others in new roles and there is new actors playing TOS known suport characters.

Trata las situaciones estresantes como lo haría 1 perro: si no puedes comértelo o jugar con ello, méate encima y lárgate!!!

T'Pol was originally intended to be a younger version of T'Pau but was changed in preproduction for legal reasons. It was considered later to make T'Pau her sister but T'Pol stated in ep. The Xindi that she had no siblings.
For fifth season it was planned for T'Pol to meet her father, a romulan agent who had posed as a vulcan officer prior to faking his own death. The suggestion that T'Pol was half romulan would have explained her affinity for humans as well as her interest in experimenting with emotions.

What affinity for humans? She constantly looked down on them.

What makes you say that? All canon evidence points towards Humans and Romulans being the very best of friends

She constantly spouted the Vulcan party line about Humans early on, sure. But she chose to remain as part of the crew and live amongst Humans, when she didn't have to. She stood up for Archer when they tried to recall the NX-01 in Shockwave. She had the hots for Trip and slept with him. She wasn't exactly a bigot.Rochey wrote:What affinity for humans? Alright. I don't remember all that much of ENT anyway.

Re: I had no idea...
Anyone know where I can get a sound file of the sensor 'ping' on a TOS era Conny bridge? You know the one, they had a version of it in ST:XI when you first see the Kelvin? Another example of what I mean is in TNG: Relics when Scotty goes into the holodeck and the door opens and he walks onto the 'bridge'. That sound.

Any idea even what it's called? I've found lots of TOS era sound effects but I've never found a pure 'sensor ping' only file. Just thought I'd ask

Harry - try this. The sound I think you want is A38 - scanner.wav...thelordharry wrote:Anyone know where I can get a sound file of the sensor 'ping' on a TOS era Conny bridge? Re: I had no idea...
I always have my phone on silent. mainly because it has the most unfuriating noises whenever you slide the keyboard out the side.
Re: I had no idea...
My windows phone used to do that - who decided that people would want that function switched on by default?
