I liked him in the role, he really made that character such an ass.SomosFuga wrote:Walter Koenig was in B5 too, he was Alfred Bester, a powerful telepath bad guy.

Internet based fan productions actually. You were close I've actually watched "Of Gods and Men" it's pretty good. It involved Charlie X and an alternate reality (not the traditional mirror universe) and stars a whole host of Trek actors. Capt. Harriman, Nichelle Nichols, Walter Koenig, guy who plays Martok, guy who plays Soval, Ethan Philips, Cirroc Loften, the guy who played Charlie X and the guy who played Gary Mitchell (i think). It was quite good, and quite well done in my opinon.Rochey wrote:Books, I believe.SomosFuga wrote:What is "Star Trek: New Voyages"? and "Star Trek: Of Gods and Men"?
The New Voyages is a TOS Fan production which from what I understand, started out with the premise "What did the final two years of the Enterprise's 5yr mission look like?" and went from there.
"All this has happened before --"
"But it doesn't have to happen again. Not if we make up our minds to change. Take a different path. Right here, right now."

Bester was my favorite B5 character. I giggled like a little girl anytime he was in an episode.Lighthawk wrote:I liked him in the role, he really made that character such an ass.SomosFuga wrote:Walter Koenig was in B5 too, he was Alfred Bester, a powerful telepath bad guy.
B5 was probably the only realistic depiction of dealing with telepaths I've seen so far as well.

Did you know that Levar Burton was a smoker? (he's given up for a few months now!)
By the by, did you know you can follow Levar Burton, Wil Wheaton and Brent Spiner (probably many others) on Twitter?
Here's a picture of Wheaton with the tag:

It's pretty good, if the excerpts posted on SDN are anything to go by - his reviews of the early TNG episodes are as good as Chuck Sonnenburg's.
Only two things are infinite - the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe: Albert Einstein.

Yeah, from what I've heard he has much the same opinion of his character that we have.
"You've all been selected for this mission because you each have a special skill. Professor Hawking, John Leslie, Phil Neville, the Wu-Tang Clan, Usher, the Sugar Puffs Monster and Daniel Day-Lewis! Welcome to Operation MindFuck!"
