Re: Dark Heresy: Illumination
1052 Day Two:
As the party continues to discuss their course of action, a group of men and women stumble out of the nearby bar. Clearly members of a freighter in orbit, judging by the patches on their ship-issued overalls. A number of them brazenly check out Phebia and a couple of the men make lewd facial and hand gestures and one of the men lets out a long cat call.
As the group eggs him on a woman in the group pushes him from behind onto Phebia's lap.
He looks up "a thousand pardons m'lady" he drawls as he regains his feet. A lewd smile on his face. He clearly isn't as sorry as he claims.

"Hey cocksuckers!" Octavian yelled stepping up behind his insulted comrade, "My female compatriot does not need a slobbering limp dick fucker falling in a drunken haze onto her. Apologize to the young lady or I'll staple your balls to your forehead." Octavian said as he walked clearly towards the larger group. His eyes filled with the look of a man who knows he's about to kill someone. "So," He says as he pulled out his knife, his right hand resting on his creed-9 slung across his shoulder, "Which of you road agents wants to die?"

1053 Day Two:
The man's face falls as he takes in the stocky ex-guardsmen and falls further as he realizes just how much trouble he and his friends are in. He raises his hands and backs away from the sister slowly, "we don't...don't...want no trouble boss" he stammers. One of his friends behind him makes to pull a cudgel from his belt but is stopped by the hand of a female companion, her knuckles bone white around his wrist.
The star sailors back up as a group, stopping long enough for their threatened comrade to join them before turning tail and fleeing into the crowd.

Octavian spat, "Fucking cowards their fear smells like cat piss. I hate cat piss. Did a malady or mishap befall you or are you acceptable?" He asked Phebia as he holstered his knife.

Phebia spat as she stood up. Octavian could see her flail already in her far hand ready to work. "I'm fine. Whether you intended to or not you saved that scum's life."

Haxta let out the breath she had been holding, her respirator buzzing slightly. She had not expected the situation to end as bloddlessly as it had. Turning back to Karibi, she said, " That sounds like a fine plan. Shall we get to it then?"

Karibi sighed irritably at the Sororitas and the Guardsman. "Can we please go five minutes without trying to instigate a fight? We're already conspicuous enough as it is. The last thing we need is you two bringing down the authorities on us by starting a fight with the local dredges of society." Turning to Haxta, he nodded. "Right, let's get going."

Phebia waved dismissively at Karibi from across the street. She returned to her crate to wait.

1054 Day Two:
As you enter the bar the first thing you notice is the air is thick with the stench of lho, obscura and sweat. The air is hazy and filled with the noise of a hundred voices all at once, some of the patrons look on you with interest, while others pointedly ignore you. A few of the painted faced locals are enjoying a local brew at a table near the bars centre and the barkeep is busy dispensing drinks to yet another ships crew. You notice that he seems to have the appearance of a human child and seems to be stepping on and off stools or a bench as he moves between his shelf of spirits and the taps.

Marco paused at the door, taking in his surroundings. After a moment's thought, he strode as casualy as he could manage up to the bar. Sitting down on a stool, he waved to get the bartender's attention.

"What yoos be havin' stranger?" The diminutive man asks as he approaches. As he does so you can in fact see that he is an adult, though strangely he obviously lacks the ability to grow facial hair.

1056, Day Two
Milo eagerly followed Karibi into the bar, checking constantly to make sure that Haxta was close by and unmolested. He sighed as he shouldered his way through the crowd to a spot next to Karibi. A drink would be just the thing right now, he thought. Looking over at the bartender, Milo did a quick double-take, looked pointedly at Karibi, and said quietly, "You know? The bartender looks like a... nah, couldn't be." Raising his voice he called, "Joiliq, neat!"

10:55 - day two
As the others entered the first bar, Pahr casually strolled into an alleyway behind a three-story prefab building further up the street. Retrieving his grapnel from his belt, he fired the cable to the rooftop, and used the powered winch to rapidly ascend. Once on the roof, he drew his rifle and found a suitable spot to watch the bar's entrance and rear exit. Murmuring a prayer, he sighted through the rifle's high-powered scope and waited.

1057 Day Two:
The barkeep fills Trask's order and sets it down in front of him, "Here yoos go cobber, where yoos hail from?" he asks and apparently not interested in waiting for Marco's order he sets a dark foaming beverage in front of him. Upon closer inspection you can see that the foam is coming from a small grub at the bottom. "It's bonzer, made from fungus. The bug adds flavour." He comments, seeing his new clients dubious look.

Phebia sat on the crate trying to look generally disinterested in the goings on of the bar. She carelessly slid her carbine off her shoulder and sat it on the crate beside her. Seemingly unconcerned about it but with the grip in easy reach. She pulled a small book out of the pouch on her hip and started to thumb through the book, looking up occasionally to peer around.
