You never know, this might cause the family to examine itself a little bit more. There was a family nearby a couple of years back who had the same thing happen. They started to look into their behavior around him, what he did, and why he did all the things that lead to his demise. Turns out, his depression, they think anyway, was caused by his wifes alcoholism, which was caused by the death of her mother. Incidentally, she died via an overdose of tablets because of her husband maltreating her.

Unfortunately suicide is one of the ways that disease kills us. At some point everybody hits rock bottom, or what they percieve as rock bottom. That is the most dangerous time, because the guilt and shame overwhelms us.

very true, I was just pointing that fact out.

I do hope some good can come out of this.

My cousin was 18 years old, he had everything in life coming to him and he decided to end his life. I loved that kid but he ended his life. No one saw it coming, Like I said I loved him and he was a smart kid but when I remember him all I can think of is how dumb he was to throw his life away yet I still love him and will always remember him in the good times. No one ever said life was going to be easy.
This happened last year but it still fucks me up. Sorry for venting.
But I can't throw, I throw like a geek!

On a waaaay lighter note than my last post I and some friends are getting on a boat and heading off for a few days traveling the waterways of ireland from Friday until Tuesday. Maybe some fishing but mostly drinking and stopping at every town and seeing whats happening. Nothing but 100km (lots more available but roughly what we plan to cover) of water and each bar along the way to be sampled.
I know I don't post often but I know I'll have lots to look forward to when I come back,
Rochey, can you send some of your terminator cyborg drones to watch my house while I'm away?
But I can't throw, I throw like a geek!

How big of a boat?

I couldn't do that. I get sea sick :x

By the way, today is an anniversary of sorts. Four whole years clean and sober (all in a row  ). Four years ago I never would have imagined that being possible.
