Starship Pics
Re: Starship Pics
I think my favorite of the bunch is the Ronin personally. It looks like the natural evolution of the Connie/Miranda-Galaxy/Nebula-(now)Sovereign/Ronin.
The DY-100 DOES look like a space born sub, doesn't it........but it kind of did in TOS as well IIRC.

They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

I present the fastest pod in the fleet as made by BCC user NeoKaede.
There is not a problem in this world that can't be solved without the proper application of a sufficient number of thermonuclear ordnance.
Re: Starship Pics
Wow, that sucks, no offence to the artist, but he couldn't put about 3 minutes into it, really...

Where is the crew supposed to be?
It's just a warp-speed automated weapon pod?

Re: Starship Pics
It's your bog-standard cut and paste of a Neb weapons pod and an Akira nacelle. It's got slightly more thought put into it as I do about the number of grains of sugar in my tea.
Only two things are infinite - the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe: Albert Einstein.

Re: Starship Pics
The funny thing is, with a little effort, I could see this being something that's moderately practical. Warp core, small control station, big weapons pod. Hell, keep them automated. That's ugly as sin, but I don't think this would be such a godawful idea.JudgeKing wrote:I present the fastest pod in the fleet as made by BCC user NeoKaede.
Don't you hear my call, though you're many years away, don't you hear me calling you?
Re: Starship Pics
I could make it work, needs a different nacelle, but i could do it in about 30 mins in photoshop... Probably about 2 hours in paint...

Re: Starship Pics
maybe a bit more hull to it that's not to hard...some more space for crew, and it wouldn't be a bad scout.Nickswitz wrote:I could make it work, needs a different nacelle, but i could do it in about 30 mins in photoshop... Probably about 2 hours in paint...
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
Re: Starship Pics
Yeah, I could do that... Like a small area for about 30 people or so... What should it's hull look like... I'm seeing a botany bay kind of hull, I'm gonna make this look decent if not good.

Maybe just an itty bitty saucer in the middle?Nickswitz wrote:What should it's hull look like...
Use the Oberth saucer in the middle. To scale, of course.

You guys do realize that this was made to be something that would be laughed at right?

In that capacity, it's rather successful.JudgeKing wrote:You guys do realize that this was made to be something that would be laughed at right?
