Does the TE have The Defiant?

No, only what they can build on their own.

Re: War of the Week - VHC vs TE
By the way, you forgot the poll..............
Here's my thoughts
I'm calling it a draw at the moment. The Vulcans have never fought a race as naturally aggressive as the MU humans are, and with it's slave races, it's got greater numbers and resources to work with. The TE has no problem whatsoever with stripmining a planet if needed, and will throw away countless lives to achieve an important enough victory. Now, this is only speculation on my part, but I feel that the TE weapons would be stronger that her Starfleet counterparts due to it's warlike nature, but still not up to the Vulcan level. I think that the the TE would and could throw away ships at a 2 or 3 to 1 loss and still keep the Vulcans from gaining any serious ground even with the High Commands superior ships and weapons.
I liken it to the Wolf Pack fighting the Bear.

However, be aware that the Vulcan's are pragmatic people. If the Terran Alliance shows itself as a big enough problem for the Vulcans, they might well be able to consolidate the efforts of the other normal universe powers like Andoria and Tellar prime. The Tellarites arent as much of a problem as they are stated to be far less a match for an Andorian cruiser. The Andorians might well provide a big challenge for the Terran Empire.
This is all based on whether the other powers may influence the course of the war.

But the Vulcan High Command and the Andorian Guard aren't exactly on friendly terms either.

The Vulcans and Andorians were both established space powers while humans were new as an empire. The idea of an upstart new power trying to gain ground might unite Vulcan and Andoria.

Technically 100% of 0 is still 0 so if there was no poll before.. wouldn't there still be no poll?Rochey wrote: Now with 100% more poll.

Rochey, could you open the poll so that people can change their votes in case they change their minds?Rochey wrote:Now with 100% more poll.

Re: War of the Week - VHC vs TE
My own vote is that the VHC curbstomps the TE. While the TE may like the idea of building a massive fleet. At the time of the MU minus the Vulcan slaves, the TE was still having trouble dealing with their enemies. The VHC more advanced ships should at the least stalemate the conflict. This would be followed by a massive build up in force by the VHC to use against the TE.

That last is a good point Deep. I failed to take into account the continuing build up of forces.

Re: War of the Week - VHC vs TE
I see it much like this. The TE wouldn't start a war right away. They would be more likely to try a silent but rapid build up of force. This would allow for a surprise attack that with luck could catch the VHC so far off guard they'd be unable to respond. The TE could push and rape this advantage for all its worth and drive straight at Vulcan and hope for a quick war.
HOWEVER!
Should any part of the plan even slow down, not fail but just run slowly. You have the problem of the Vulcan's with greater speed and combat ability being able to pull their forces together and counter attack the inferior and now wounded TE fleet.
IMO, I just don't have faith enough that the TE could pull it off.

Re: War of the Week - VHC vs TE
Vulcans win. The TE inflicts some decent damage with their xenophobia and ruthlessness, but these ain't the TNG Vulcans - we've seen the ENT Vulcans resort to disinformation and military exploitation. Combine that with their technical superiority, and the TE can't maintain.
