Nice to know that stupidity is not a strictly American phenomenon.

I hate MIchael Jackson, because he died the concert was postponed, and I have no clue when it'll be moved too, at least I'll still be going to the city tomorrow...

Which side were they on?

Just curious. The annoying part is not watching the news the week of my duty. I'm not even sure if I'll actually be called in. And I won't find out when until the day before.

well, I know that I'll never actually have to serve...my stance on drugs will take care of that...IMO it should all be legal...then we can regulate it, distribute it, and tax the s**t out of it! Plus if you want to get high, go crazy and jump off a building, good, then I don't have to support your stupid a** in my old age!

But what if its a murder case and no drugs were involved?

The only situation I know that I could be let off the hook is if the death penalty is on the table. I'd simply tell them that I could not ever give a guilty verdict in such a situation.
I could never ever have someone sentenced to death.

I could get off every jury they ever wanted to put me on, I know how to not like certain things, and I know what things not to say. Needless to say, I read too many crime novels... haha

well usually with opinions like that they don't want you on the Jury, doesn't really matter the charge, at least from what i know.

Just tell them you read. That should get you off of most cases right away.

Where did you hear that, they love people with extreme positions, if it has nothing to do with drugs, they would love you on the jury.

Exactly. With extreme views, its easy to know who you can persuade.

Whats new in my life? I just popped the biggest effing pimple ever... I'm not even sure this thing was a pimple. It was right on my spine at the base of my neck, and bugger me was it big, I noticed it about 2 weeks ago but it was kind of just there and under the surface, but its just been growing and growing, but I can hardly reach it and not see it at all, I was kind of worried about what it was since it was so huge, but my friend looked at it and said it looked normal.

So there is was, this 4cm round spot at the base of my neck that had been growing for at least 2 weeks (probably more), it was getting kind of painful when ever I'd knock it or move my neck back.

Then about 30 minutes ago I managed to pop the sucker... and bugger me. the amount of puss and blood pooring out of the thing... I feel light headed almost. It has soaked three hankies with its life juices! I think if I had just milked the sucked it would have filled one of those old film canister holders.

So thats my disgusting story

So I sit here now, with a forth hankie on the back of my neck soaking up the last of the sucker... good times.

Everyone else on the jury will be either a complete moron who'll vote on which side "seems" nicer, or a pseudo-sociopathic fuck who'll vote whichever way will get him home quicker. If I were you I'd just try to avoid it and save yourself the headache. Take it from someone with experience; it's the most infuriating experience you'll ever have.

Took my cousin and fiancee's brother out today to get fitted for their tuxes (we're paying for them) for the wedding. It was...interesting. My cousin is 6'1" and over 350lbs. Bit of difficulty with him, but my to be brother in law...6'5", and built like a bear. Size 15 4x wide shoes, and the tape measure wasn't long enough to get around his chest. Place says they can fit them though.
