Wait, quit? Quit WoW? *puzzles over this* But . . . that would mean . . . noooo . . . there is no life outside of WoW, I REFUSE to believe you!

It's amazing how much free time I suddenly had.

Yeah, I had to turn off the playtime announcement on login. I don't need to be reminded that entire months of my life have been spent on WoW.

Heh.

I just got to the point where I was logging in out of habit. Did I have anything to do? No, I was just logging in because that's what I did. I didn't wanna grind mobs for money, or rep, or mine for mats for some item no one really wanted. RP was pointless as most of the RPers were either Idiots or isolationist Pricks. I would log in and just find some place pretty to sit while I chatted with a few friends and alt-tabbed to surf the web. Then I remembered these free things called chat programs that I didn't have to pay $15 a month for.

Oh man, I have no shortage of stuff to do on WoW. Mainly due to epic levels of ADHD ingame - logging in to do a daily and then spending 3 hours leveling engineering and RPing or something like that. Also, I LOVE my guildies and our filthy guild chat is like crack to me.

That's the thing, yes, there is stuff I could do but... why? Spend a couple weeks farming money so I can level my blacksmithing or engineering? So I can make some piece of gear that's horribly inferior to even a low grade raiding epic? Or some craftable piece of junk 90 other people can and I can't even get the price of mats for? It's pretty much just a grind. RP... well ER when I was there had some RP issues.

Most the elitest jerks (not the website which is a great source for WoW play strategies) left for Moonguard, another Roleplay server.

Though there will always be cliques *nudges Shaura's guild* the ones that are around today are pretty friendly. Even the most cliquish of them.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

One of my friends recently started playing again since they got their hands on WOTLK. He says it is far better than BC (which he hated so much he gave up WoW for awhile, and much more like WoW should be.

Anyone else here play the lattest expansion? What do you think?
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I agree its better. Only problem is once you've beaten all the instances and raids there's not a whole lot to do. I've been in a wow rut lately. Need to get back into it. I guess I could pvp more. Or try to get raid loot.
