Of course, the day I master control of the weather is the day the world falls under my rule.

Ha! Now now, a good fog in the right location can be a true and horrible inconvience.

Quite a few people died down here about a year ago when the highway was fogged in so dense you have about 10' of visibility. Of course about half the dead were the idiots who drove through it at 80mph anyway. Sadly the other half were the intelligent people who slowed down and then got plowed into from behind by the idiots.

Well, I got my new chair and book case yesterday, I ordered them about a week ago and got them set up...I'm lovin the upgrade...

I got a leather "executive computer chair" which is a def. upgrade over the 10 year old basic seat I had been using with the seat cushion that was all but nonexistent.

I also got a new bookshelf, that's about twice as big as my old one....I had been stacking two rows of books, squeezing them in where ever I could fit them plus having a couple random piles around my room....now I've got them all fitted comfortably on the new one

Life is boring at the moment. I'm just living vicariously through you all :worried:

I think I broke a toe. Not sure really. It keeps cracking and popping about. Could be bad.

On other things... I find the weather amazing. Rain so dense that you can't see more then twenty feet in front of you. Then the clouds float away and the sun comes out and its beautiful outside. All in the space of an hour.

I feel like a real ass.

I've got one or two people who use me for emotional support in times of crisis (or what THEY consider crisis). If everything is ok though, they don't return my calls, or texts. It's getting kind of old. Well, to make a long story short, one started calling me and texting me a usual sob story (they are both women) and I just friggin' snapped. I asked her if I was that important to her why she just ignores me when she doesn't need me. The only answer I got was her tears and hung up on.

Opinions?

Did I do the right or wrong thing?

I'm voting "right", if only because I basically did the same thing to Uzume recently. She hung up on me as well. Three times.

Depends. If, when you follow up later and she has changed and just wants to talk for the sake of talking, then you did the right thing. If, however, she continues with the pattern of behavior, then you did the wrong thing... you should have done something stronger.

As to latest, nothing much for me, but Bob found a mistake on the New York State Living Environment Regents (at least I think it was living environment).
An actual mistake, not just a spelling error. As in, there was no correct answer.

I think you gave her your honest opinion and you did the right thing. Friendship isn't based upon another persons convenience and vise versa.
