Beam Firepower : 400

Just a quick calculation, it is in some ways higher than TOS but not up to TNG specks either

I was speaking in general terms. As in "in general, larger ships tend to be be faster than small ones". And I figured that it was obvious the tech would have factored into that.

As I said in a different thread this is an impossible question. DIfferent universe, different scale.

Graham, shouldn't the Shield Strength be higher? 2,010 Terrawatts seems a little low. Shouldn't it be up to 300,000 or more?

Beam Firepower : 200
Torpedo Firepower : 400
Weapon Range and Accuracy : 150
Shield Strength : 260
Hull Armour : 380
Speed : 267.338
Combat Manoeuvrability : 5340
Total : 294.01

That's my estimates on the new Constitution-class given that its over twice as large as the original Constitution.

Pulled this from Wikipedia. It SAYS it's production info

Wikipedia says:
Registry: USS Enterprise (NCC-1701)
Class: Constitution (Star Trek (2009))
Service: 2258-
Captains: Christopher Pike, Spock, James T. Kirk

This version of the Enterprise is from the alternate reality created when the Romulan character Nero traveled through time via a black hole in the film Star Trek (2009). According to production sources (digital model makers and an official website) this Enterprise is around 750 meters long.[8][9][10][11] The original series Enterprise was around 300 meters long.

ILM has specifically given a figure of 2,357 ft / 718 m.

Graham's scaling put the ship at ~1KM.

Yeah he was basing that off a image of a hanger, not a perfect way to judge.

It's safe to say a couple things:

1) It is way bigger than the original Connie. There is no way in hell it's only 300 meters long.
2) It's well over 600 meters long. Even on the small side most scaling attempts wind up pegging it at at least 700+ meters.

I suggest this as well.

In the new timeline, phasers seem to be more powerful against shields than photon torpedoes.

Notice during the Kobyashi Maru sim, when Kirk ordered torps, McCoy questioned that, stating they're shields are still up. Wouldn't this lead us to believe that torps are ineffective agaist shields?

Perhaps the phaser power should be higher than the torps to reflect that?

Did you notice that the temporal Connie is less massive than the Original almost 200000 Metric tons lighter. Now that's a surprise. Must use a lot of Balsa wood inside the ship
