Beam Firepower : 400
Torpedo Firepower : 350
Weapon Range and Accuracy : 400
Shield Strength : 300
Hull Armour : same as TOS
Speed : 400
Combat Manoeuvrability /quote] 800
Just a quick calculation, it is in some ways higher than TOS but not up to TNG specks either

Re: Stats/Information on the new Enterprise
I was speaking in general terms. As in "in general, larger ships tend to be be faster than small ones". And I figured that it was obvious the tech would have factored into that.IanKennedy wrote: But the tech level was not brought into the question, it was simply that larger tends to be faster, which is simply not the case.

As I said in a different thread this is an impossible question. DIfferent universe, different scale.

What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Re: Stats/Information on the new Enterprise
Graham, shouldn't the Shield Strength be higher? 2,010 Terrawatts seems a little low. Shouldn't it be up to 300,000 or more?

That's my estimates on the new Constitution-class given that its over twice as large as the original Constitution.

Re: Stats/Information on the new Enterprise
Pulled this from Wikipedia. It SAYS it's production info
Wikipedia says:
Registry: USS Enterprise (NCC-1701)
Class: Constitution (Star Trek (2009))
Service: 2258-
Captains: Christopher Pike, Spock, James T. Kirk
This version of the Enterprise is from the alternate reality created when the Romulan character Nero traveled through time via a black hole in the film Star Trek (2009). According to production sources (digital model makers and an official website) this Enterprise is around 750 meters long.[8][9][10][11] The original series Enterprise was around 300 meters long.

Re: Stats/Information on the new Enterprise
ILM has specifically given a figure of 2,357 ft / 718 m.
"There was also a large horse in the room, taking up most of it."
Re: Stats/Information on the new Enterprise
So I guess the consensus is that its bigger.

Graham's scaling put the ship at ~1KM.

Yeah he was basing that off a image of a hanger, not a perfect way to judge.

Re: Stats/Information on the new Enterprise
It's safe to say a couple things:
1) It is way bigger than the original Connie. There is no way in hell it's only 300 meters long.
2) It's well over 600 meters long. Even on the small side most scaling attempts wind up pegging it at at least 700+ meters.

Re: Stats/Information on the new Enterprise
I suggest this as well.
In the new timeline, phasers seem to be more powerful against shields than photon torpedoes.
Notice during the Kobyashi Maru sim, when Kirk ordered torps, McCoy questioned that, stating they're shields are still up. Wouldn't this lead us to believe that torps are ineffective agaist shields?
Perhaps the phaser power should be higher than the torps to reflect that?

Re: Stats/Information on the new Enterprise
Did you notice that the temporal Connie is less massive than the Original almost 200000 Metric tons lighter. Now that's a surprise. Must use a lot of Balsa wood inside the shipSuperSaiyaMan12 wrote:Beam Firepower : 200
