Yes, but you see, I like ENT. And when I say that, I mean I like watching Star Trek: Enterprise. That is to say, I like the TV show and novels. For you see, I like those books! And the shows. yes, for I, RK_Striker_JK_5, like that show! That is to say, it pleased me while watching it. Yes, I enjoy Enterprise while it is on the television or on the computer on my DVD-ROM. For, I, RK_Striker_JK_5 am pleased by the show and... [/mojo_jojo]

But where's the fun in that, Mikey? It worked for Dumbledore, why not me? :happydevil:

Remember what happened to Dumbledore...?
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

So, correct me if I'm wrong, but are you perhaps trying to say that you liked it?

Albus Dumbledore, 188-something until 1996 Fictional character, headmaster of Hogwarts until the moment of his death. Was killed by Severus Snape using the Unforgiveable curse Avada Kedavra. Is considered to be the most brilliant wizards of the modern age in HP-verse. He has a youngerbrother and a dead younger sister. Dumbledore is one of the few people capable of taming a phoenix.

And that is just off the top of my head.

Yes, yes I am.

Too many words, Vic? :poke:

Mikey, Shran's info is correct, for the most part. Dumbledore was from the Harry Potter novels. I've also started hating him for his inability to give Harry vital info that would've saved everyone a lot of grief and death. Nice job breaking it, hero.

The events of TATV are a Section 31 coverup so that Trip can do undercover work studying the Romulan Warp Seven Stardrive Program and if possible sabotage it. The Romulans are capturing Klingon, Vulcan, and other ships using a technology called the Arrenhe'hwiua. The crew isn't incompetent or insane. Hell the Romulans attack Coridan by ramming one of their ships into the planet at maximum warp. Trip's current situation is he is within double agent Sopek in an escape pod hurtling towards a gravitic mine.
There is not a problem in this world that can't be solved without the proper application of a sufficient number of thermonuclear ordnance.

It really would explain

A) why there were no security forces when the aliens boarded the ship, and

B) Trip's wink to Archer before Phlox takes him to "surgery".

A) For reasons that remained classified for (approximately) 250 years, Tucker was forced to fake his own death in 2155, days before the foundation of the Coalition of Planets, precursor to the United Federation of Planets.

In files de-classified in the early 25th century, it was revealed that Tucker had been recruited by the rogue spy agency known to some as Section 31 to infiltrate the space of the Romulan Star Empire and sabotage the Romulans research into developing a Warp-7 stardrive.

In order to facilitate this, Tucker underwent re-constructive surgery on Adigeon Prime, a world whose natives were familiar with Romulan appearance, in order to fit in behind enemy lines. Tucker and Section 31 agent Tinh Hoc Phuong were the first humans to see the true appearance of the Romulan people and realize their kinship to the Vulcans. Section 31 kept this information under wraps fearing that if link between the Vulcan and Romulan people were to be discovered, it would shatter the still-fragile Coalition.

Tucker returned to Romulan space shortly after the formation of the Coalition of Planets in order to gather intelligence on the Romulans before the inevitable war with the Empire broke out. Tucker's specific activities during this period remain unknown, but at some point the historical record was altered, changing the date of Tucker's "death" from 2155 to 2161. The reasons for this remain a mystery. (ENT novel: The Good That Men Do)

B) I don't know what the wink was about.

Huh. Some of that might've made for a satisfying season 5 of ENT.

I thought the wink would be indicative of Archer's knowledge of the operation, and would explain why he seemed so nonchalant about losing one of his best friends.
