Yeah, shame that only in a supporting role was the GCS allowed to kick ass and chew cardassian bubble gum.

It wasn't just in DS9 - a couple of other occasions I can think of are Survivors and BoBW.

Nice Episode the Husnock one. You have to give the GCS that at least she only began hurting after the shields reached zero. I am rewatching VOY atm and in most cases the bridge is about to disintegrate with shields at 80%. (Ok, that was unfair, most of the time the roof comes down only below 60% )

Here's one I've found of an Akira class...............I like to think of it as our USS Daystrom in action

nice finds Mark.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

The USS Aventine (NCC-82602) has finally been released as designed by Mark Rademaker.

Looks a bit fat at the front end.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Unfortunately, this is the only image of the completed Aventine.

Here's a small preview of the shape of the ship.

At least it isn't a kitbash. It looks good, but I'd need to see more of it. I do like the nacelles.
