Which TV program can you not stand?

Post by Sionnach Glic »

Well? Which TV program do you hate with an unparalelled passion?

I do not watch ANY of the reality tv shows (survivor, dancing with the stars, etc) or any of the game shows (millionare, deal, etc).

Same here. Can't stand most reality TV shows. I never watch the X Factor, I've never seen Survivor, I've never watched Big Brother.

Also Soap Operas. Good lord they're awful.

Sports shows. I am not a fan of any sport, and I have no great interest in watching any sport.

Seconded. If Big Brother, Eastenders, Coronation Street, or anything remotely resembling any of them show up, the TV either changes channel or goes off ASAP.

I agree with you almost completely, Graham.

'Reality' Tv. Ugh, the bane of my existance.

Same goes for soaps.

Most sports I hate with a passion, though I'm rather fond of hurling and gaelic matches.

One program I hate in particular though, is an incredibly annoying kids program called Wonder Pets. Five minutes of watching this will make you want to gouge your eyes out. :x

I have a guilty pleasure - Hollyoaks. I think it's all the loosely clad female students
But I don't really like any (other) soaps or reality TV - I can't stand Big Brother, I really really hate it.
I occasionally watch Deal or no Deal, but that's the only gameshow I watch.

My favourite ever programme is Top Gear, though. Now I wait for all the old farts to come on here moaning about how much of a w****r Jeremy Clarkson is

Of course Clarkson's an obnoxious, self-centred idiot. But he does it with style. :)

It's almost a cliche to say I hate reality shows, and soaps (I will watch neighbours on occasion) and sport ('cept for international rugby union and F1 racing).
But the program that I have an almost pathological hatred of is the new BBC adaptation of Robin Hood. It actually makes me angry.....

Having access to BBC America, I can say that I've been made to agree with you on your assessment of Robin Hood. I enjoy most American team sports, but ice hockey is beyond me - and it is the worst sport to translate to television EVER.

I hate sit coms. They just arent funny. Case in point - The american office. Same script as the British one which was hugely funny but this one is just shit.

I also hate almost all reality TV although I did watch the origianal surivior back in the day and would still love to do something like that.

Everybody Loves Raymond. Why couldn't that show have been filming atop tower 2 at about 8:49am on September 11th?

Reality shows and a lot of sitcoms. Honestly, I usually just watch DVD boxed sets. I only have basic cable at this point.

I think I may actually be the only person alive that doesn't like Seinfeld. Jason Alexander and the rest of the cast are great, I just don't find Jerry Seinfeld funny. Never have.
