A war-like species that is not totally xenophobic or just about the fight would be great. I love the Klingons, but they are too... base. The Andorians tended to be too xenophobic. Not meaning to poit to humans or Americans in WW2, but something like the "Wake a sleeping Dragon" comment kind of thing. A race that is realtively easy to get along with, but when push comes to shove they can throw down with the best of them. It would have been really cool is during the Dominion war the Andorians would have exploded back onto the screen as basically a hard hitting surgical squad. They could have played up how the Andorians had been soooo quiet for soooo long and then when they were actually threatened, BAM! They come out on fire!Teaos wrote:Yeah the way Enterprise portrayed Andorians was rather good compared to the others. But then the others didnt give them enough time to really develope.
Andorians

The thing is most of this could have happened. We only saw a tiny fraction of what was going on in the War. Maybe the Andorians did play a large part.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

You're right, of course, Teaos... it just would have been nice to see it. After all, there is a founding world of the Federation, comprising a warrior race - what better time to see them would there have been?

True, and I do admit that I do not pay uber-attention to details when I watch tv. However, one would think they would have been mentioned, if not shown.Teaos wrote:The thing is most of this could have happened. We only saw a tiny fraction of what was going on in the War. The Andorians were all probably too busy laughing at the humans tactics (or lack thereof) to fight.

Please, Deepcrush, don't get Seafort started on another litany of American military cock-ups. Despite all the times we've proved our military ability, there were a couple of foul-ups, and even though it's quibbling, he's usually right.
