Deep fucking god. Since my dad has left the navy he's been looking for a job for quite a while...well, he just got a quote from FPS on what he could be getting per hour. £25 per hour at an absolute minimum, more4likely £27/£28 per hour. With his hours and working time, that translates to about £46,000-£49,600 per year :shock: For you americans, using the Reuters converter, thats about $67,300 per year, or $72,500 per year. And thats without his pension. And since dad was in the forces, he might as well completely new to the job, he's completely inexperienced. Bear in mind that this will be frontline social working, child and family protection and the like.
