What's the latest in people's lives?
Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
If I let my beard grow, I look like a damn terrorist. When I was younger, I was forced to shave with them citing that very reason. The beard and goatee makes me look "evil" according to people but my daughter says I look like a "billygoat".
Luckly, all facial hair is black still. No grey................yet.

I got a new keyboard for my Stitch's keyboard, it has a little scroll ball, which is actually a lot easier to use than the mouse, which is odd, considering most people find scroll wheels annoying and tedious, guess I'm just weird, it has the most amazing feel to the keys as well, very well constructed. lol. I sound like a total nerd, but look where I am, so I guess I\m safe for now.

You mean a trackball? Yeah, I never liked those.

Yeah, that thing, I find it so much more useful, but that's just me (literally). But I don't mind being different so, I don't mind liking it, lol.

Hey I didn't say you're wrong for liking it.

Not as good for gaming, IMO. Plus, I spend a lot of time on my computer, so having my hand stationary for hours would be rather uncomfortable.
Latest news for me: my mom might join the forum, once I get the other computer set up. Ian won't be the oldest member anymore!

Probably fairly regular, and yeah, she's just one of the guys. No toning down necessary.

It turns out that some moron doing line work knocked down our telephone wires, and our satellite, so, we have no telephone, no TV, and no DSL available to us, I love wi-fi, so fricken much. And these people who did the line work, threw down the lines right next to our house, they might even be live. I hate stupid people!

Yup, they did nothing about them, didn't even put up a notice or anything, just got them down, and left them lying there.

I once used a neighbor's computer that had a trackball rather than a mouse - I just find a mouse easier to use (especially in this age of wireless optical mice). Somehow it's more intuitive to move the hand around.
