Genesis
Genesis
It's up on OOEG, it's so stupid, not as bad as Threshold, but pretty darn stupid. Any comments on it, I like to laugh.

Yup, Evolution going haywire, with random non-human-related genomes. Someone didn't think when they made this episode.
OT, how do you make a link say something, I've always been confused by that.

Re: Genesis
We have a whole thread full of helpful hints like that in the Announcements
Linking
This is pretty simple to do, you can either just type out the link address:
http://www.ditl.org
But this looks ugly and messy, it is much better to make it into a URL link. You do this by adding the address into a URL bracket, the URL button is found at the top of the page near the IMG button.
DITL websiteCode: Select all
DITL website

Re: Genesis
I'm far more inclined to agree with Graham's review: A fun little episode, despite the silly premise. Actually, looking back at what Graham wrote for DITL, I'm a little surprised he gave it ****, as I would have expected him to crap on it more due to the absurdity of the plot. But as I said, I agree with the rating, as I found it was one of the more interesting episodes they had that season.
Don't you hear my call, though you're many years away, don't you hear me calling you?

Re: Genesis
I have a much harder time separating the absurdity from the action.

Re: Genesis
And, for that matter, the badly laid-out plot, as ONGEG pointed out. The only good bit being the actors' peformances

Re: Genesis
I imagine it all depends on what you find enjoyable. A good plot and story some enjoy, some enjoy special effects, some enjoy good always winning...different people have different standards of enjoyable.

Re: Genesis
There are parts (like the performaces as Seafort mentioned) which I do find enjoyable. I thought Stewart was almost as good as in the Star Trek "Family Guy" episode. However, I can't spearate the crappy parts enough from the good bits to qualify it as a decent (or even mediocre) ep.

I was something like 7 or 8 when Genesis first aired - and it scared the crap out of me. Not so much anymore.
