That's why I like the new and improved Borg from the TNG relaunch novels.
There is not a problem in this world that can't be solved without the proper application of a sufficient number of thermonuclear ordnance.

In TNG, when they first appeared, the Borg gave me chicken skin.

In Voyager, it became "Oh, it's the Borg again."

The Destiny Trilogy generated the same effect for the Borg as TNG.

The Borg shocked me when they first came around but after that I got mad at SF for not using slugthrowers!

To be honest, I didn't think they'd have worked until I saw if with my own eyes in FC.

In my old ST roleplaying game the Borg made an appearance. They made it on board my ship. In the sections they were in, I cranked up artificial gravity to 10G, and squished them.

Smart man. I've used that a number of times in RPs elsewhere.

Hell, boarding a starship should be almost impossible to achieve victory in. Why? Because you are dependant on your enemy being nice and letting you live.
Vent the oxygen out.
Crank the heat up to fatal levels.
Hit them with 50G's of gravity.
Over or underpressurise the compartments they're in.

So many fun different ways to kill any intruders.

Or hell, just put some proper blast doors at the end of the corridors and they'd be stuck there with nowhere to go, waiting for your squads to take them down.

Even without such common-sense area denial measures, a boarding force is necessarily forced into bottlenecks, blind corners, etc. The beginning of ANH, when the Tantive is boarded always struck me with the uncanny easiness in which the stormtroopers were able to board through the hatch and press forward almost immediately.

I suppose the environmental conditions could be circumnavigated via hacking computer systems, or releasing some form of wyrm/worm (however it is spelt) into their computers. But its still a BIIIG maybe.

It is possible to enter undetected through technobable reasons a, b, or c.

Well, you'd figure the Borg would be vulnerable to at least SOME of the anti-intruder measures.

The best reason (or what we have in place of one) I've heard was that the troops on board the Tantive IV were more likely to be old rental cops and not real soldiers. They lacked the moral or ability to stand against Storm Troopers (how shitty do you have to be to fail in a shoot out against storm troopers again?) in a rush attack.

Borg can survive space so temperature isnt an issue for them nor is a vacuum.

We have only once that I can remember seen gravity cranked up and that was in the mirror universe.

There is no reason to assume gravity can be cranked up to 90G's. Why the hell would you make a device that is supposed to create 1g of gravity have the ability to go to 90g? Maybe to 5g, but the Borg being what they are would probably be able to easily survive that.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

They had what, 50 troops against the ISD's Legion? That would put off anyone but a Space Marine, though I often wondered why they didn't toss in a grenade or tow before they came through.
