The attack on the E-C
The attack on the E-C
Were the Romulan ships that attacked the E-C at the Klingon colony D'Deridex Warbirds.
I remember in Yesterday's Enterprise, Garret said "three warbirds", but does that mean they were D'Deridex's.

Re: The attack on the E-C
"Warbird" is just a generic description of Romulan capital ships.
Re: The attack on the E-C
That's what I thought. I just wasn't sure if there was any canon mention of it other than YE.
Wow, the E-C wouldn't stand a chance against three D'Deridex's.

What, even with Tasha 'Kickin' Ass' Yar at the weapons array? She'd have wrestled them all to the floor and then growled at them...stitch626 wrote:That's what I thought. I just wasn't sure if there was any canon mention of it other than YE.

Re: The attack on the E-C
I doubt the E-D would fare very well against three D'Deridex class ships either...stitch626 wrote:...Wow, the E-C wouldn't stand a chance against three D'Deridex's.

Re: The attack on the E-C
That would be a fun battle to recreate... for the Warbirds.

Re: The attack on the E-C
Picard treated a pair of D'D Warbirds as a sure defeat so a trio would cake walk the E-D and rape the E-C.

Re: The attack on the E-C
They seemed to think in that episode that the Enterprise D would easily outmatch the 3 ships in the past if they were to go back with them, or that the Enterprise C could have a chance if her weapons were upgraded. I'm guessing not D'Deridex's.

Aye. So, again, we have no hard data on them.

We don't even know what they look like, though its a good bet they're green and have wings.

were the D'D's even around back then?
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Re: The attack on the E-C
I'd say no. The D'D were treated like a new threat in TNG. If the RSE had the D'D class back then they could have taken on both the UFP and KE with a major advantage.

Re: The attack on the E-C
I've fought against 2 Warbirds on Bridge Commander with a Galaxy. I won but it was ugly as hell and I diddn't want to try 3. Now with a Sovereign that is a different story.
