Songs with links
Re: Songs with links
Wow. That's a heck of a lotta good stuff. I've been gone too long.
Anyway so the question is are the Japanese another group that can safely use the N word if they're just trying to have a hip hop sound? (See if you can catch it)

Those chicks make me want to eat sushi for some reason. Tuna, I think.

Re: Songs with links
It's a little heavier than most of the stuff I listen to normally, but the video is awesome, and has what I think is a clear message.
Genghis Tron - Things Don't Look Good
And another video by them which may cause seizures.
Board Up The House
Oh, and any musicians on here, I dare you to try and follow the timing to this song: Rational Gaze by Meshuggah.

Mueshuggah - isn't that one of those sterotypical Swedish bands that co-opted a Yiddish term for their name?

Yep.
They still rock, though. Bleed, another awesome video and a song with extremely difficult timing.

Re: Songs with links
Just so people don't get the wrong impression and believe I only enjoy heavy or contemporary music, here's one of my absolute favorite songs, Moonlight Sonata by dear old Ludwig van.
First movement
Second movement
Third movement
It's tough to choose between the first and third, but the third is one of the best, most complicated (and catchy) riffs ever, IMO.
I love this song.
I just found this; a jazz version of the first movement.

Re: Songs with links
Nice. I've always leaned toward the Romantic when it comes to classical music, and especially the Russian Five (Mussorgsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Cui, Borodin, and Glinka.) One of my faves has always been Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain and his Songs and Dances of Death - here is one lied from the cycle, performed by the most amazing baritone ever, Dmitri Hvorostovsky.

Cool stuff. I hadn't seen Supabeast and some of those (starting to go through now).
Anyway I saw

And though Reliant at least might like it if he's still around.

Here's a drastically under appreciated band: Prong, with the song Whose Fist Is This, Anyway?
