Well, I may not have to go to classes tomorrow on account of a rather nasty snowstorm coming fro the south (meaning Florida area). Still can't figure that one out.

Snowstorm from Florida, eh? That does sound odd.

Well, actually from Alabama... but I figured most people would know where Florida is. (sadly, some students in my collage classes don't know that Alabama is a state.)

Yeah, very light snowfall has just begun but we're expecting a foot of snow here in the next 24 hours in New York. So I'll be looking out the window and checking for news from the college.

sounds like a girl in my class. Until last year she didn't know that the US was a country, to quote her when we told her:

"I don't know, I thought it was like a contenant or something."

Later that semester we found out she didn't know that we were living on the surface of the Earth. She thought we were underneath the crust, and that the sky was just the inside of the earth, painted different colors.

So, she grew up in a cave in Antarctica, right?

Either that, or she's genuinely retarded.

Sorry, no. The amount of alcohol required to make a person that stupid would kill them 20 times over.

Well, there was the time that someone I'm rather familiar with decided to get out of his friend's car, and jump into the bed of his other friend's truck at 70 mph heading toward Austin...

It may have worked out well, but it was still pure idiocy.

We actually have only a few inches (as of right now) but the college is closed today nevertheless.

I'll be getting about 15-18 inches here in NH. Shoveled twice already and am sick of the snow.
