So, what's the problem, Liverpool and Manchester are only 35 miles away from each other, about an hour tops.

Whoo! Ireland beats England by one point in the most hard fought game of rugby I've seen in a long time!
I'm amazed our captain is still standing after all that.

Bloody 'Borough.

Ah well, since Viv Richards is similarly hacked off at least I'm in good company.

I had to laugh at the England manager punching his seat in anger at one point in the match. :P

It's not really, over here it has the "old man with a billion pounds image". Never mind the fact that a fair few fords are more expensive.

That's because it's an X-type estate, not because it's a Jag.

This, for example, is coolness personified. 8)

True enough. Then again, we cant afford to have anything with an MPG lower than 45 for dads car on combined cycle. and he's been in a friends X-type, and it was awesome. so he wants one.

There's a fascinating last couple of overs and last day in the offing here. England 600-6d, Windies 749-9d (the 9th highest score in Test history). We shouldn't loose this, but you never know. Where's the crossed-fingers smilie?

Wow, what was that, sorry dude I nodded off there as soon as you mentioned cricket. I'm sure you're heard this a million times before but any game that can take days to play just leaves me wanting to watch an Ent box set. :)

The fact that the game has meal breaks makes it the very definition of civilisation.

Besides, TMS is a national institution. :)

Well NZ seems to be going pretty good in the lattest cricket season, we beat Aussie (not that thats hard anymore) and are doing well vs Sri Lanka, the 20/20 matches get more popular every year.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.
