Yeah, imagine the group of us walking down the street having the same conversation we just had.

Man, that would be awesome. I love freaking out the normals. :)

The DITL "get together" would go down as the coming of some alien force to those normals

Heres my latest gossip!

My company can't afford to keep me on so bye bye job.

Thus, in order to cheer myself up, I am going to start myself a car fund. My tired old beast, or Battlestar Escortia as I named it (lol) needs to die. I need to my hands on £5,000 roughly. Donations welcome, PM me if you want to help out, every pound helps. and despite paypal's evilness i shall prevail!!!

I'm going to get something alot more sensible, a deisel *gasp*
Most likely a Mondeo 2.2TDCi ST (150ps) or a Skoda Octavia vRS Deisel (170ps)

Also thought about a high-mileage Alfa Romeo 156 2.4JTD (160ish, dunno)

So yeah. If anyone in the UK has a place or knows someone who needs new tills/registers, do tell, my line of work for the next month or so!!!

Why do you want such a large car? couldn't you work with a smaller engined hatch back?

The answer:

Because I'm a man.

I know you are too. But you don't drive yet and like canal street (not trying to be offensive) so you're not like to understand yet.

Larger cars + larger wheel base = better turning circle = ez as pie to park
Large boot
Lots of room for passengers
Excellent engine for fuel economy or fun driving
WINNER.

don't be mad :-(
mainly im trying to keep my chin up by buying a new car that's all LOL

meh, its your choice i suppose. We're looking at chopping in Dads Matiz for a slightly larger, more substantial car. Looking at a used Ford Fusion at the moment (European one)

My dad dont care about speed or looks. He wants it to last, and get from A to B. Thats it. We're considering it as a first car for me when I get there.

He wants it to last...
And he's getting a FORD? :P

Anyway, latest in my life is: I'm a carrier. I am now a carrier for this seasons flu virus. Not getting sick, just everyone else is. Always wanted to be like Typhoid Mary. :|

Hopefully it will die eventually so that I don't make everyone I meet sick.

Oh. They don't carry the flu either. Nor drive to school every morning.

I don't know about American Fords but every single ford that our family has bought has never gone wrong. Not once. Apart from the old Sierra, but dad did kinda outrun a BMW in it. And promptly killed the engine. But still, not a single ford has gone wrong for us. And thats probably 20+ fords in our family.
