Oh, I agree with you that it is a stupid design.
But it is still infinately cooler than anything from the TNG+ period.

The Ori and their ships and orators/pariahs, whatever they were called were a big let down to me too!
Re: the Constitution, i wasn't a fan because like the 'Balance of Terror' Rommie BoP, the Constitution seemed a little spartan, but i have grown to like its minimalist aircraft carrier aesthetics since watching ENT 'In a Mirror, Darkly'
I love the Hat'aks from SG-1 but think they were overused, eg Lucien Alliance etc

I'm with Graham on that. Show some freaking originality, for Creations sake. Kitbashing looks like crap. Why not just throw in a bunch of existing classes as wreckage? If you need more burning debris, make it something recognizable. There seem to be about a million Miranda and Excelsior-class ships, right?

Kitbahes thirded. I also didn't like the new Galactica at first - it didn't look as solid as the old one, but I must admit it's grown on me. Particularly with the Adama Manoeuvre.
As for worst ship - I think I've expressed my opinion on the Promtheus almost as often as Rochey's expressed his on the Galaxy.

I don't know... I don't really consider the Nebula a kitbashed design. More like a variant, using some of the same technology for a different purpose. I would rather command a Nebula than a Galaxy, personally. More manuverability, more flexibility; really, it is a better ship. Who gives a crap if it can't saucer-seperate?

The Nebula isn't so much a kitbash as a Galaxy designed by someone with a brain. The saucer and nacelles may be the same basic design, but there are a lot of differences in the engineering hull plus, of course, the pod pylon. Kitbashes are when you take various randomly scaled Airfix models and glue them together. That God-awful Intrepid/Maquis raider/runabout cross for example.

I understand that - I just mean that it looks fragile. It's too pretty to be a ship of the Guard.ChakatBlackstar wrote:To be fair it was a huge ship(over 1300 meters long) with a skeleton crew. It was hadly operating at optimal levels.
