There's no shortage of money here. Freed slaves are worth a great deal. They are experienced workers who would be glad to have any job that pays. Easy to get along with and often loyal friends who later turn into loyal customers. As to fighting injustice. Again, many worlds would be happy to hire someone who can protect them outside of the law. Someone not bound by rules. Downtrodden folks need food, medical supplies and transport. This kind of a profession is one that would act as much below RADAR as possible.

A banker and trader. You get things that no one else can. That is for a price. You come to the Republic with information about the CIS that may have allowed several victories to be gained. With the fall of your people from the grace of the Republic. You are one of the few living beings that can operate on both sides of the conflict. Money is your friend with information being your tool.

You can if you want. I posted several examples a few pages back. Here they are again if you'd like to look. They're all melee classes.

It seems that we are leaning to SW. Sword based characters could be Jedi, Dark Jedi, sith, Gray Jedi, Jensaarai, Imperial Knight or Noghri. Thats all I can think of for now. All of which can be ship bound and serve in fleet matters.
