Actually, the Sisters of Silence are a branch of the Adeptus Astra Telepathica. Monroe - the Astartes are the Space Marines. Even Octavian would sit down and shut up if an Astartes told him to.
oh.. oops. Would it be obvious she's one?
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Yes the Departmento Investigates is the specific branch of the Adeptus Astra Telepathica they belong to.

Should be obvious enough from her armor, weapons and haircut but she gives you a good clue in her dialogue.

Kendall - sorry, I'd only seen them referred as the Adeptus' Chamber Militant. Monroe - it would be obvious she's not an 8 foot tall hulking mass of bioengineered super-human with service studs riveted into his forehead. It could be easy to mistake her for an Adepta Sororitas Sister of Battle, though.

Very similar. The Sisters of Battle are part of the Adepta Sororitas, which is a branch of the Ecclesiarchy (aka the Imperial Church.)

Inq works apart from but sometimes along with the Church. Its a minor edit for you but the others don't need to worry since they might not be able to tell the difference.

? My char used to be priest - he's an interrogator for the Ordo Hereticus now. Reliant's char is a Sister of Silence novice of the Adeptus Astra Telepathica. I only mentioned the SoB to explain the difference between them and the Sisters of Silence to Monroe. The Adepta Sororitas is technically part of the Ecclesiarchy, not the Inq, though a witch hunter may requisition them.

The Inq has the right to call on any resource they so wish in their mission. From Space Marines to whole planets. The Inq also makes common use of persons who are from different lines of work.

Can Space Marines do that too? Video game seemed to suggest that.

Pretty sure that only an Inquisitor or someone like a Warmaster can order it but they usually request a SM Battle Barge to carry out the actual act.

Exterminatus is only open to the Inq or High Lords of Terra. The Space Marines are known to Purge a planet but its not the same thing really. Purge tends to wipe out most of the life on a planet but is normally ment to target a specific group. Exterminatus renders a planet lifeless.

A barrage of cyclonic torpedoes can detach a planet's crust. Dunno what was used to turn Caliban into an asteroid field.
