Re: 40k roleplay comments
I think we'd all understand the difference between an actual slur from you, and from speaking in character. However, just try and keep it from being TOO gratuitous.

Re: 40k roleplay comments
Thing is, there really isn't any racism in the fluff (the novels anyways). There's tribalism, classism etc but the classic racism seems to be lacking. I certainly haven't read anyone calling a black guy "darky" or anything along those lines.

There are so many different people on so many different worlds. Its kind of hard to be a racist if you can't even tell what your own race is. Or where it comes from.

How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

If we don't hear from the others aboard ship, we could just count them as sleeping and move forward. That is if we don't hear from them by sometime tonight.

I had to reinstall Windows again, but I'll work something up soon; I'm liking the setting, and Pahr should be an... interesting character to write.

Re: 40k roleplay comments
Give them a day or two, some are in different timezones and may have things to do. I was part of something like this before and it moved way to fast to keep up, people have lives and it would be great if people didn't get left out. Now if it's been a few days and they haven't posted in the thread but are posting elsewhere than we should move on.Deepcrush wrote:If we don't hear from the others aboard ship, we could just count them as sleeping and move forward. Re: 40k roleplay comments
Yeah, there are always PC issues; Rochey's got the wargame to run; Reliant has some firends with some issues. I'll give it just a bit of time. (I also need some time to write up something for this and for Daystrom.)

So, is there anyone in this section that isn't a complete an utter loon?

Maybe Rochey will be "normal".

Well, I imagine I'll like this just fine.

Oh, this is a good universe to let your darker thoughts run wild in. Hell, I'm wearing the flak jacket of a guy I skinned. Probably while he was still alive.Tsukiyumi wrote:Well, I imagine I'll like this just fine.
