Is it just me or does the theme of violence always come up when someone talks about me?
P.S.
Love this thread, great work.

I was busy... life is full of its little troubles. Did get to enter a 40k tourny. 9 wins, 3 draws and no losses. Though to be honest, one of those draws cost me big time.

I notice nothing on me yet. Jeez is avoiding nearly every thread about Star Trek on a Star Trek form really that efficient on not getting noticed?
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

To be honest I think I was closer to being on the lossing side. Though I was the first person he had ever lost his HQ against since last christmas when he bought it.I trust you exacted suitable payment out of the other side's hide.
Good, as long as I'm sure... So why can't my ship have a phaser lance again? No, it's not just you.

Daystrom Class
In 2403, serious hostilities were occurring between the major factions of the A/B Quadrants. A treaty negotiation occurred in this year that by some miracle allowed the Federation to begin experimenting with Cloaking technology. Starfleet R&D immediately began work, picking up on the experimental results gathered by the USS Pegasus before her disappearance. By 2405, a working model of the Phase Cloak had been developed.
The following year, Starfleet approved a grant for the production of a stealth scout. The project bid went to a young officer working with Starfleet R&D and the Daystrom Institute Technical Library. He based his ship off several off the new war-style ships being produced by Starfleet. As a scout the ship was equipped with a medium armament, and the most recent propulsion technology, allowing it to get into and away from different situations quickly. The ship was also the first in Federation History that had a cloaking device incorporated into the original designs.
The Lieutenant named the class after Starfleet's historic palace of knowledge, in the hopes that the scouting and espionage capabilities of the ship would add to the knowledge of Starfleet on the actions of its enemies.
The Daystrom Class went into production in 2410 and took a year and a half to produce because of the high amounts of technology involved. The USS Daystrom has since gathered valuable information on Romulan fleet movements, allowing the Federation to prepare for what appears to be a coming war.
