There's a grand total of one Christmas song I like. The others all suck.

'Not the nine o'clock news' was an 80's BBC sketch show, which was called that because it was on at 9pm on BBC 2 while the news was on BBC1. Anyhow this was a landmark series that ran for four years and gave us Rowen Atkinson, Mel Smith, Griff Rhys Jones and Pamela Stephenson. Now most of you will be saying who are they, but that's not that important. The final episode finished with this video, which I didn't get at the time, but now I kinda wonder how the hell they got away with it:

The memory kinda lingers

Heh, funnily enough I looked up that video the other week.

Another highlight of the series for me was Gerald the talking Gorilla
"You ain't gonna get off down the trail a mile or two, and go missing your wife or something, like our last cook done, are you?"
"My wife is in hell, where I sent her. She could make good biscuits, but her behavior was terrible."

Yup, I loved that one. I was going to post that also, but got distracted. The first one I posted because of the '2 nuns in the bath joke' in the jokes thread.

A few vids I put up today:

This one is my remix of the music from Gradius 3, a Super Nintendo game. It's pretty good, and I recorded myself playing the game - TERRIBLY. Watching me die hundreds of times alone should be worth a gander, right? :D

Here I am playing a song I wrote for my fiancee, Kim. It's a jazz tune, and I'm playing trombone (I also did the other parts on piano, but they're not that amazing).

So this is how I've been spending my vacation. Soon I'll have a video up of a remix I did of the music from Super Mario World. Specifically, it's the music for Koopa's Castle, all funkified. The problem is that I'm terrible at that game too, so it's going to take me a while to GET Koopa's Castle so I can get video footage.

The Wicker Man remake... as you've never seen it before.
Give a man a fire, and you keep him warm for a day. SET a man on fire, and you will keep him warm for the rest of his life...

What? That aired in Canada, minus the UK narration.

This has just been ruthlessy pillaged in order to advertise Teabags (bring back the talking monkeys), so here's the original :-

Morcambe and Wise breakfast sketch
