My place is on the 7th floor. It would need to be a SERIOUS flood to put me physically at risk. But, it COULD trap me here if it keeps up.

Those two things are why I haven't had time to be active here like i used to.
Congrats Doc. I'm being encouraged to go back for my Ph.D. after my mess is done. We'll see. Truthfully, I want a career in brewing.
Don't you hear my call, though you're many years away, don't you hear me calling you?

That sucks, Mark. How at risk is your area from flooding? You might want to stock up on food and water if the flooding continues.

Not so much where I'm at, I don't think. It's MOSTLY the country sides that are getting hit badly, do to the lack of a proper storm sewer system. But, I have enough food and water up here for around four days, if we lose power for some reason. The main danger for us is traffic IF we go somewhere. All the streetlight in our grid went down. A bunch of crashes tonight.

Quite sucky, Mark. Is it mostly rain, or is the wind bad as well?

Rain. Some gusts, but nothing that's gonna topple trees. But these tropical rains, man, they are so thick they are like fog. You cant see squat.

as to the question about "is she cute?".....I wouldnt know....she's 45. She has attractive features i spose, but she has...considerable hip baggage. And she has never been the same since she came back from Bosnia (Posted with the navy) so i am told.

Small wonder, Bosnia was a shithole. More than one friend of mine who was there came back with the kiss of career death.

Sorry about the troubles Mark.

Latest with me, well I may be on very infrequently for a while. Trying to pay the college (and then my parents) will be a full time job... and that pun was totally unintentional.

Basically, I'll still be on for the Battle and FtFV. But that is pretty much it.
