See, a long time ago, Baby Jesus was born, and he was visited by Wolverine, Bruce Banner, and Spiderman, who took him away to a special school for mutants like him. He learned to use his powers, but in the end, he became a hippie, and let a bunch of powerless bronze-age folks kill him. So we all get presents for not being hippies.

That's the way I remember it, anyways. I could be off a bit.

never seen that movie.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

He ran out of padded walls. Seriously, if you can find it, see it. One of the most horrifying movies ever.

I'm not really into horror movies, though.

It's not a slasher-type, though there are some graphic scenes. It's more of a cerebral horror film. It gets in your head; I love stories like that, regardless of genre. :)

Of course, I write horror, so I suppose stuff like that has always been interesting to me.

Agreed. It's just too easy to create a movie which has plenty of gratuitous explosions, gore, and sex for no reason. Creating a story that's interesting in itself, that's hard!

This movie has no gratuitous anything. The concept itself is terrifying, and the startling or violent moments all underscore the storyline. I might watch it again tonight, in fact. :worried:
